Crystal Lake, IL — Ronald L. Berry Sr., 70, of Crystal Lake, IL, passed away December 17, 2012 at Centegra Hospital in McHenry.

He was born April 13, 1942 in Middlesboro, Kentucky to Carlos and Edna (Parris) Berry. He moved to McHenry county in the early 1960s. On August 19, 1967, he married Betty Schultz in Crystal Lake, IL. He worked as a Die caster for over 30 years. He was a dedicated husband, and a loving father and grandfather.

He is survived by his son, Ron (Lynda) Berry Jr.; grandchildren, Gary, Brent, and Kaylee Mueller, and Kierstyn Berry; his siblings, Kenneth (Marie) Vinoski, Thelma Berry, Charlotte Chadwell, and Tony Berry; his sister-in-law, Anna Berry; his nephew, Jospeh (Teresa) Berry; and many other extended family members.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty; his parents; his brother, Jack Berry; his sister, Katherine Hopper; and his nephew, Jack Berry Jr.

The visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, December 21 at Querhammer & Flagg Funeral Home, 500 W. Terra Cotta Ave., Crystal Lake, IL. The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, December, December 22, at the funeral home.

Interment will be in Windridge Memorial Park in Cary, IL.
