James H. Baird, 90, of Harrogate, TN, passed away Monday, January 14, 2013 at Tri State Manor.
He was born December 3, 1922 in Jellico, TN, the son of the late Clifford H. and Sue Ellen Jones Baird.
He believed in the Baptist Faith. He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the U.S. Army Air Corp. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, 2 brothers and 1 sister.
Survivors include: daughter: Nancy (Denny) Day; special friends: Jay and Sherry Howard, Dr. C.C. Moore and Dr. C.A. Moore.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 17, at the Green Hills Memorial Gardens with Dr. William Boyd Bingham presiding.
Military honors will be given by the American Legion Dewey Guy Post # 14 of Middlesboro.
