Jeffrey Shackleford, 42, of Chenoa, KY, passed away Thursday, January 17, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center.

He was born December 7, 1970 in Middlesboro, KY, the son of the late Otis and Jeanette Miracle Shackleford. He was a member of the Chenoa Missionary Baptist Church. He was an avid fan of University of Kentucky sports and NASCAR. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents: Floyd and Leeoma Miracle, Sarah Barnett and Tom Jeff Shackleford.

He is survived by the following members of his family: son: Jeffrey Allen Shackleford – Chenoa, KY; 2 sisters: Brenda (Jerry) Ellis – Harrogate, TN and Sarah K. Shackleford – Chenoa, KY; 1 brother: Johnny (Linda) Shackleford – Chenoa, KY; nieces and nephews: Jada (Justin) Jackson – Harrogate, TN, Vian Grace – Pineville, KY, Logan Byrd – Chenoa, KY, Evan Chase Jackson and Aiden Wayne Jackson – both of Harrogate, TN; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Saturday, January 19, at the Creech Funeral Home with the Rev. Jerry Fuson presiding.

Music will be provided by Phillip Fuson and the New Vine Missionary Baptist Church Choir.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, January 20 at the New Vine Cemetery.

Honorary Pallbearers will be the Nursing Staffs of the University of Kentucky Medical Center and Tri State Nursing and Rehab Center.
