Hiley Forester Brock, 95, of Stoney Fork, passed away Friday, January 18, at the Middlesboro Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility.

She was born July 28, 1917 at Old Straight Creek, KY, the daughter of the late John and Sallie Johnson Akers. She was a member of the Mill Creek Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: 1 daughter: Fannie Brock; and 4 infant children, 4 sisters and 2 brothers.

She is survived by the following members of her family: 2 daughters: Ann Nadine (Carl Ralph) Williams of Rose Hill, VA and Ronella (Emmanuel) Whitehead of Jenson, KY; 15 grandchildren: Jerry Wayne, Shirley, Carol, Linda, Hedgle, Rayann, Patty, Betty, Margaret, Virgil, Janice, Earl D., Charlene, Carol and Barbara; and a host of great and great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services was held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 21, at the Mill Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Jackie Smith, Rev. Rafe Collett and Rev. Ron Howard presiding.

Music was provided by Mickey Wilder, Benny Howard, Irving Gipson and Anna Jane Brock. Interment followed in the Stoney Fork Cemetery.

Pallbearers were her grandsons and great grandsons.
