Danny Earl Cottrell, formally of Springfield, OH, went thru the gates of heaven on January 20, 2013, in Harrogate TN, where he had resided for the past 7 years.
Danny was born in Springfield on April 28, 1952. He served in the United States Navy and was a Vietnam War Veteran.
He had many friends and family in Springfield and Harrogate. He will be remembered for his great sense of humor and being a friend to everyone he met. His passion was working in his wood shop on wood crafts.
Danny leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 18 years , Patricia (Pridemore) Cottrell; his children, Barbie (Dan) Long, Danny Cottrell, Chuck (Shelly) Billet; his grandchildren, Courtney and Cayla Long, Drew, Danny and Kirstin Cottrell, Alyssa (Zack) Burns, Chase and CheyAnn Billet.
Memorial Services will be held at Coffey Funeral Home in Harrogate, TN on Saturday, January 26 at noon with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. Military Funeral Honors will be performed at Forge Ridge Cemetery following the memorial service.
