Laws arrested for allegedly possessing matter involving sexual performance by minor
A Middlesboro man is behind bars after police say they found electronic devices with at least 20 images of child exploitation. Jason Lee Laws, 42, of Middlesboro, was arrested by Kentucky State Police and charged with 20 counts of possession of matter portraying sexual performance by a minor.
According to reports from WRIL, detectives with Kentucky State Police Electronic Crime Branch, with the assistance from the Middlesboro Police Department, executed the search warrant at a residence on Winchester Avenue at 3 p.m. on Wednesday.
Laws is currently being held at the Bell County Detention Center without bond.
